First post! Skirt pictures/pattern

Hello, and welcome to my brand-new, almost-completely-uncustomized blog! In time, I hope to make it more homey in here.

For now, here are some pictures of, and a pattern for, the very first knitted item I've designed (more-or-less-) completely on my own. It's a skirt. I'm pleasantly surprised by how it turned out. After a couple of requests for a pattern, I tried writing one up. I make no guarantees - I've never written a pattern before, and I tend to be a bit of a haphazard knitter, so the pattern and my finished product may not match up entirely. I made some bigger-than-small mistakes when knitting this skirt, whether you notice them or not... but I tried to leave them out when writing the pattern. ;) If anyone out there gives the pattern a try, do let me know how it works out for you!
